Your excused tardy is not excused

So, this morning has been extrememly hectic.
and so was last night.
I spent an hour cleaning the house, only to come out at 11 at night to see my dad making tacos. He took all the ground beef and put it on the frying pan. That's fine, except for the fact that he didn't take it out of the package. After I quickly turned off the oven, scraped the burnt plastic off of the frying pan, and finished cooking the taco meat, I turn around to see my dad pouring pork and beans onto two plates. They should really be in bowls, but, obviously, my dad did not feel the need to do that. So once again I grab the plates out of my dad's hands right before any pork or bean falls out. Just as I finish cleaning up that mess, I turn around and my dad is making what is supposed to be mac n' cheese. At this point, I figure he's sleep walking. It's very dangerous to wake a sleepwalker I heard, so I kind of just followed him around and made sure he didn't catch anything on fire. Then, he walked into my brother's room, woke them up, and told them it was time to eat dinner. Everyone was very confused, but they ate anyways... strange. Then this morning I woke up late and rushed to get ready, only for rachel to call and say that we were not going to first period because she woke up late. If I had known this, I could have slept in another hour! Especially seeing how I didn't go to sleep last night until one in the morning! Anyways, I told my dad Rachel couldn't drive us and he decided he would take us to school. For some reason though, he passes up the exit and we go all the way into anderson and take the long way to school, so I end up being late anyways. My dad calls in and I go to the office to get my late slip, and the office lady decided I just don't get it. She just refuses to give it to me. I asked her if my dad called, and she said he did. So I really am not sure why I was not allowed to get my late slip. So now I have four hours of detention. Ridiculous. Oh yes, and also, on the way to school this morning, I spilled makeup all over my entire outfit. And the whole reason I have time to write this is because I spent two hours last night writing a 5 page essay for econ, only to find out my teacher moved the due date to monday and we all get to work on it today. So here I am, writing this blog, sitting next to Michael Maynard and Kris Short. I'll tell him you said hi Kayla.

Until next time <3
